Saudi Arabia: The one major determining factor in the segment is the price. The Chinese brand is making an aggressive value proposition; the Jetour T1 is priced at SAR 114,000 to SAR 130,000 for a turbocharged AWD SUV with advanced tech. That undercuts its popular rival, the Corolla Cross, by over SAR 20,000, while offering more power and features. However, the pricing alone does not provide a complete picture. You need to understand what each trim delivers and where Jetour made compromises.

The Two-Trim Strategy

Jetour keeps it simple with just two variants to choose from: Comfort and Luxury. Both get the same 2.0L turbo engine, 8-speed automatic, and AWD. The mechanical package doesn't change. The difference is equipment level.

These are comfort features, not safety-critical items. You still get a complete SUV. The Luxury trim adds convenience, but the Comfort trim isn't stripped bare.

The T1's pricing is smart; it covers real value for buyers, but being a new brand, buyers must know what they can’t take for granted if they go with an established brand. But here is the thing: if you keep cars for seven years and prefer features over well-known brands, the T1 could turn out to be an ideal pick.
