Peugeot debuts the Concept 6 and Concept 8 at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show

Saudi Arabia:     The Beijing International Auto Show has brought together more than 1451 cars and 180 new models from the leading automobile manufacturers. Here, Peugeot also revealed two of its futuristic concept cars, Peugeot Concept 6 and Peugeot Concept 8, featuring French design language, paired with Dongfeng’s engineering.  Both concepts are fully electric (BEV) and built on dedicated platforms and target the global market, including Saudi Arabia. 

Peugeot Concept 6

The Peugeot Concept 6 is a stylish fastback with advanced technology and elegance for the modern Saudi buyer. It offers:

• Electrified performance 
• Advanced lighting signatures with next-generation cockpit technology

Peugeot Concept 8 

Concept 8, the next-generation large SUV, was also revealed at the  2026 Beijing International Auto Show. It brings a flagship, luxurious, and spacious intelligent SUV for the luxury SUV buyers. It offers an electrification and smart mobility solution for pairing with the Intelligent connectivity systems. It features:

• Pure electric and Intelligent Technology
• Digital First Experience
• Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS)
• Aerodynamic SUV optimized to minimize drag

Peugeot’s Partnership with Dongfeng

Peugeot has partnered with Dongfeng Motor Corporation, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers. This gives Peugeot access to dedicated EV architectures, next-generation battery technologies, and intelligent vehicle platforms. This partnership plays a key role in expanding Peugeot’s electrification strategy in markets like Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. 

What does it mean for the Saudi Arabian Market?

The reveal of the  Peugeot Concept 6 and Peugeot Concept 8 in the 2026 Beijing International Auto Shows major shift towards high-end, electrified, and AI-driven vehicles. Both vehicles offer a premium tech-focused interior built on the EV-native platforms. They cater to the growing demand for stylish, luxurious mobility in the region, with the production likely to start in 2027.
