TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team (TGR-WRT) has witnessed an amazing day with the win in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). Both Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais were driving for Toyota in KSA on the final day. They clinched the championship by defeating their Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT team-mates, Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin, by four points. With this win, Ogier became the nine-time World Rally Champion. The Rally Saudi Arabia is very challenging due to loose desert sand with rocky mountains. The high temperatures on top of everything test the driver and the vehicle both to their limits. Both drivers, Ogier and Landa, maintained a consistent and calculated pace with minimal time loss. This helped them to get the third spot and the points needed to win the championship. This is the result of the six victories and 10 podiums from 11 starts.
