Saudi Arabia: Toyota offers the Yaris in four trims in Saudi Arabia. The price spread from base to top runs about SAR 11,845. That's not a huge gap, which makes choosing the right trim trickier than it should be. Each trim makes different compromises.

The Y-base trim (SAR 63,825)

This is the Toyota Yaris stripped to essentials: purely playful personal mobility without any frills. It takes you from point A to point B. That's it. The climate control system is manual rather than automatic, with a smaller 7-inch screen, fabric seats, manual mirror folding and only two airbags. Most importantly: no Toyota Safety Sense. In 2026, that feels like a significant safety compromise to save money.

Who should buy the Y? Buyers with absolute budget constraints who need the Toyota badge and reliability. But honestly, the SAR 2,875 jump to Y Limited or SAR 5,865 to Y Plus makes more sense for most buyers.

Y Limited (SAR 66,700)

This trim feels like Toyota trying to split the difference. You get the bigger 9-inch screen; wireless charging is included. Still only 2 airbags and still no Toyota Safety Sense. This trim is essentially available to offer buyers another option, but it's not the smart choice. You're paying SAR 2,875 over base for a bigger screen and wireless charging. Save that money and jump straight to Y Plus.

Y Plus (SAR 69,690): The sweet spot

Here's where the Yaris lineup starts making sense with the arrival of Toyota Safety Sense. There is an electric parking brake with brake hold and 16-inch wheels instead of 15-inch, a rear spoiler and a digital speedometer with a 7-inch TFT display.

Still only 2 airbags, which is certainly going to make a lot of buyers really disappointed. But you do get the critical safety technology. The price gap from the Y base is SAR 5,865. For that, you get features that matter daily and technology that could prevent an accident.

For most buyers, this trim is the perfect pick. Because you are not paying for luxury but getting useful technology.

YX (SAR 75,670) – The premium question

The top trim is fully loaded with all genuine features. It includes smart entry with push-button start, six airbags and auto-folding mirrors with turn signals. The leather steering wheel, telescopic steering adjustment and six speakers instead of four.

The materials upgrade slightly, comprising high-gloss door trims and better fabric seats. This trim feels more finished and has perfectly equipped features. 

Choose based on your real needs, not the lowest price. The Yaris you live with daily matters more than the initial savings.
