• The fuel tank 70-litre, and the car measures 5,040 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, 1,495 mm in height, 2,856 mm wheelbase, undoubtedly muscular presence. A 5.8 m turning radius allows for quick parking and multi-link suspension balances responsive handling and comfort.

Some compromises

• Running costs and weight are not something for everyone. It certainly does not qualify as the most fuel-efficient car by any chance. It needs premium 91 octane fuel and weighs between 1700-1900 kg, so not the most nimble sports car.

• If you’re not a fan of noise & the way it looks, then you will feel it a bit off with wind/tyre noise rising above 160 km/h; engine roar is celebrated, not hushed, but certainly thrills for enthusiasts, and annoys those who prefer quiet drives.

• Practicality and attention are just fine, again,  not everyone enjoys it. The 455L boot is modest compared to an  SUV but should be sufficient for everyday needs. You know, performance trumps utility. Perhaps high-power models draw KSA highway police eyes; it is a bold statement, something for status, not for subtle commuters.

• On the highway, the suspension seems to get you well with utmost comfort, and absorb most of the bumps quite well. This means a smooth and stable ride in most parts, and making it a genuine long-distance car for relaxation driving.

• The steering & body control are other areas where the Charger does a great job. Immediately, you feel connected to the steering on the roads. The anti-roll bars keep the car extremely planted; the base V6 handles corners competently.

• When it comes to the stability and different driving modes, there is no worry at all. With electronic stability and traction control, the car remains perfectly composed. The Sport mode on performance trims gives the professional real fun, and the adaptive suspension (select variants) optimises damping in real-time.

• The Brembo multi-piston callipers with ventilated rotors on higher trims deliver confident, fade-free stops.

• Both on city drives, it is manageable in traffic with perfect visibility and a compact turning radius. On curvy or narrow roads, the suspension grip increases for stability.

Some compromises

• The Charger is heavy, and the acceleration is powerful but not necessarily nimble like lighter sports cars.

• The suspension feels firm on larger  speed bumps, and KSA’s several speed bumps feel harsh. Engine noise under acceleration is loud; the V8 engines are audible when pushed. Enthusiasts love it; others will definitely feel it is excessive. Also, the base V6 appears to be less refined than turbocharged competitors.

• A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel is standard on most trims, allowing intuitive access without hand removal.

• A modern infotainment system consists of an 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen on most variants, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, smooth navigation, and interestingly Alexa voice control.

• Audio experience is provided by a premium 9-speaker Alpine system with a subwoofer. As far as the seating goes, you get leather seats, which is standard on GT+, and a power driver seat on select trims.

• The dual-zone auto AC with rear vents and heated seats on premium trims, to take care of your comfort with a panoramic sunroof (select trims) gives the cabin a new and modern look with an open-air feel.

• Driver-focused gauges and overall cockpit look are quite practical with subtle design. The LED DRLs are standard with optional LED headlamps and 3D LED taillights for superior visibility.

• Two types of wheel sizes are offered, 19–20-inch alloys that match the aggressive posture of the car with performance tyres. The dual/quad exhaust tips bolster visual appeal and engine note. Interior colours are black, tan, and performance red with special editions.

Overall, the Charger interior prioritises driver engagement, and comfort alignment with superior build quality for solid durability.

• Structural Safety is ensured by the high-tensile steel frame with a reinforced cage and crumple zones capable of managing any impact energy for occupant protection.

• There are 10 plus airbags covering dual front, front and side, dual curtain, and driver knee, along with ISOFIX anchors for full anchors for complete family coverage.

• The emergency braking or driving on challenging terrain is handled with standard safety features including ABS with EBD, Brake Assist. While the stability is ensured by Electronic Stability/Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist, which help avoid lockup, skids, and rollback.

• For ADAS warnings, Adaptive Cruise Control (select trims), Forward Collision Warning, Lane Change Indicator, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are known to offer proactive hazard alerts.

• Tire Pressure Monitoring System watches performance tyres, while the 360° camera (premium trims) simplifies parking with a complete surround view.

What to watch out for

• The current Dodge generation lacks recent Euro NCAP testing; no verified scores. The previous model has been known for great safety ratings, overall reliable, but unproven for 2025.

• ADAS is limited, with forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control offered on higher variants. The base models have nothing major for driver assists, and you need to choose safety keeping that in mind. wisely for safety.
