• The Grand i10 is a city car, and the highway reminds you of that within the first few kilometers.
• The 5-speed automatic is functional but not refined by current standards. Rivals at this price now offer CVT transmissions that feel noticeably smoother in transitions. The Grand i10's gearbox is adequate; it is just not modern.​
• There is no performance variant, no turbo option, and no AWD.

• On city roads, the Grand i10 is composed and comfortable. It handles speed bumps across residential areas without harshness, absorbs the broken surfaces near older areas in Dammam and central Jeddah with reasonable grace, and never feels like it is struggling with the road underneath it.​
• The steering is light and perfect for daily city use or commuting. Parking is a big advantage, especially in a crowded Riyadh supermarket lot; reversing into a tight villa gate or threading through a narrow and packed side street feels easy rather than stressful. This is the car's single most practical daily quality.​
• The compact dimensions mean the car fits effortlessly where larger cars hesitate.​

Things That Matter More

• At highway speeds above 100 km/h, wind and road noise enter the cabin and stay there. On a trip from Jeddah to Taif or Riyadh to Qassim, the Grand i10's cabin feels noisy. This is not a motorway car , so keep that in mind , and dealing with it will be easier.​
• The suspension handles city roads well but shows its limits over larger undulations at highway speed.​
• At 145 mm of ground clearance, it is not much but should be fine for most Saudi city roads , though it requires care on sharper speed bumps, particularly the unmarked ones in older residential areas.​
• There is no adaptive cruise control or lane departure warning on either trim.​

• Rear AC vents are standard on both trims. Hyundai got this right, and it matters more than any screen size or alloy wheel design.
