Saudi Arabia: Chery and the JLR group have officially brought back the legendary Freelander with the live reveal of Freelander 8 in China. It brings the legacy of the traditional Freelander, paired with the modern features, advanced technology, and flexible powertrain options.

The new Freelander 8 does not limit buyers into a single powertrain. JLR group has electrified the new Freelander 8 with multiple powertrain options: 

• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV)
• Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV)
• Range-Extender Electric (EREV)

It could make the transition toward electrification easier for the Saudi buyers, where the electric infrastructure is still growing.
