• It is a city hatch, and so the Swift feels alert and involved in a way the Baleno does not. The steering has a little more weight and feedback to it, the car changes direction quickly, and you feel connected to what is happening under the wheels.
• The suspension is well-tuned for city roads. Speed bumps in residential areas of Riyadh and Jeddah, the older broken surfaces near Al Dirah and Al Balad, and general urban roughness are all handled without harshness.
• The compact dimensions of 3,860 mm make the Swift one of the easiest cars in Saudi Arabia to park.
• The 360-degree camera on the GLX is one of the most useful features at this price point in the entire Saudi market.

Things That Matter More

• At 145 mm of ground clearance, it may be fine for most city roads but means you need to be careful on sharper, unmarked speed bumps in older residential neighborhoods.
• Road and wind noise at highway speeds is noticeable. The insulation works well enough in the city, but the cabin gets louder on the open road. On a trip from Jeddah to Makkah or Taif, this becomes part of the driving experience rather than background silence.
• The suspension that handles city roads well can feel slightly bouncy over larger, rougher stretches at highway speed. It is not uncomfortable, but it is not as settled as a larger, heavier car.
• There is no adaptive cruise control or lane assistance at any trim level. For purely city use this is irrelevant, but if you occasionally travel between cities, this is a gap some slightly higher-priced rivals are starting to fill.

What is Missing

• The boot at 265 liters is small; if you need bigger, then consider the Baleno, which has 355 liters for a starting price only slightly higher.
• No leather seat option exists on any Swift trim.
• There is no central front armrest on the Swift; rivals at a similar price include one as standard.
•  The audio system is functional rather than enjoyable.
