Saudi Arabia: Hyundai has officially showcased the all-new Hyundai IONIQ 3. Based on the “Aero Hatch” design philosophy, it is optimised for both aerodynamic efficiency and generous interior space. Revealed globally at Milan Design Week 2026, the new IONIQ 3 could make a difference in markets like Saudi Arabia, where the demand for electric cars is growing day by day. Even though it is showcased on the global stage, it could make a difference in the GCC with its practicality, efficiency, and technology. 

Battery and Charging

It is likely to carry the same 2 battery options in the Saudi Market. Which are: 

• 2.2 kWh battery — up to 344 km WLTP range
• 61 kWh battery — up to 496 km WLTP range

With the smooth acceleration, it priortises everyday ride practicality. The single front-wheel-drive electric motor in it produces around 107 kW (147 hp).

Charging matters more for a daily practical car for Saudi Arabian buyers. So it supports: 

• DC fast charging from 10–80% in about 29 minutes
• Smart route planning with charging integration
• Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability to power external devices

It would make the weekend trips or outdoor usage far more practical and benefit from the expanding public charging infrastructure across Saudi Arabia.
