Genesis GV80 Coupe

• The custom Asir Green/Silver brushed paint is the standout feature. It’s inspired by the Asir Mountains and uses a hand-brushed technique that gives each car a slightly different look. No two are exactly the same.
• The fastback roofline gives the GV80 Coupe its coupe-like shape. It slopes sharply from the B-pillar back, giving it a sporty profile while keeping SUV ground clearance and stance.
• The Two-Line LED headlights use Micro Lens Array tech with 200 tiny lenses per module, borrowed from semiconductor production. They create a sharp, expressive light pattern with DRLs, turn signals, and beams all integrated.
• The Double Mesh G-Matrix Crest Grille is clearly something that takes your attention immediately with full dominance at the front facia. What is interesting is the layered style and n and deep green/silver design finish which make it instantly recognizable. 
• Similarly the rear is well designed with the fastback theme that continues with focus on a clean, as superbly integrated spoiler and parabolic lines that stretch right from hood to trunk. The bumper has a 3D look with dual oval chrome exhaust tips.
• It comes with 20-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels that match the coupe’s sportier character and aggressive stance.

Some compromises

• The Green Falcon commands a big premium over the standard GV80 Coupe. In KSA, it starts around SAR 395,900, which is much more than the base Platinum trim at SAR 349,900. You’re paying for exclusivity and hand-crafted details.
• The sloping roofline cuts into rear headroom. Taller passengers in the back will notice it’s tighter than in the regular GV80.

Cargo space is less practical than the standard GV80. The sloped rear glass makes loading bulky items trickier, even if the numbers look similar on paper.

• The engine makes 380 hp and 529 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
• 0–100 km/h takes about 5.7 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h. The power delivery is strong and linear, with very little turbo lag.
• The 8-speed automatic shifts smoothly and adapts well to how you drive. It holds gears on corners and downshifts quickly when you need more power.
• Five drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Custom) let you change how the car feels. Eco saves fuel, Sport sharpens throttle and gear changes, and Custom lets you mix settings to your taste.
  Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview uses the front camera to scan the road ahead. It adjusts damping before you hit bumps or potholes, making the ride feel very smooth and controlled.
• All-wheel drive is standard, giving good grip in different conditions. An electronic limited-slip differential sends power between the rear wheels when needed, improving cornering and traction.
• The steering is well-weighted and accurate, giving confidence on the highway and in the city. It’s not super sharp like a sports car, but it’s precise enough for a luxury SUV.
  Fuel economy is around 9 km/l in mixed driving, which is reasonable for a 380 hp SUV that weighs over 2,200 kg.

Some compromises

• The GV80 Coupe is tuned for comfort, not sporty handling. Even with the coupe styling and bolstered seats, it doesn’t feel like a BMW X6 M or Porsche Cayenne Coupe. It’s more about relaxed cruising than track driving.
• There’s noticeable body roll when you push it through corners. The suspension controls it well, but it won’t satisfy drivers who want a truly sharp, athletic SUV.
• Wind noise becomes more obvious above 150 km/h. The fastback shape creates some turbulence, so the cabin isn’t quite as quiet as a Mercedes GLE Coupe at very high speeds.

• The falcon is hand-embroidered into the headrests with superb stitching, which remarkably gets its profile in detail. Such unique and distinctive craftsmanship comes only from a high-end fashion house.
• Some key standouts are the decorative garnishes around the doors, centre console, and dash, which feature etched patterns that mirror a falcon’s wings in flight. Each line is absolutely accurate, providing depth and a sense of movement.
• The custom-designed signplate underlines the car's status as a one-of-a-kind car, with the Green Falcon name and a unique serial number. These minor but significant touches and focus on design make you believe that this isn’t just another SUV.
• The 27-inch OLED display spread across the dashboard, combining the digital cluster and infotainment into one curved screen. This is something, not a cockpit signature style, that Genesis has introduced across its portfolio, which has received the latest facelift. This innovative and sleek screen supports split views for navigation, car info, and media, and comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

• Premium Nappa leather seats are standard, with heating, ventilation, and power adjustment. The front seats have extra side support to match the coupe’s sportier feel, and the stitching and leather color are chosen to go with the Green Falcon theme.
• The flat-bottom steering wheel gives a sporty touch, with contrast stitching and the Genesis emblem. It’s different from the round wheel in the regular GV80, matching the coupe’s character.
• Metal throttle and brake pedals add a sporty feel and better grip than rubber ones.

• Mood Curator lets you set different cabin moods (Vitality, Delight, Care, Comfort) by adjusting ambient lighting, music, and fragrance. It’s not just a gimmick; it actually changes the feel of the drive.
• Digital Key 2 turns your smartphone into the car key, and fingerprint authentication on the console lets you start the car and load your personal settings (seat, mirrors, climate, etc.) without a physical key.
  The Bang & Olufsen audio system has 18 speakers and 1,400 watts, with aluminum speaker grilles that look as good as they sound.
• With seats up, cargo space is around 650 liters. Fold the rear seats and it opens up a lot more. A power liftgate makes loading easier, especially with hands full.

Some compromises

• It’s a 5-seater only, so there’s no third row like in the standard GV80. Families who need seven seats will have to go for the regular GV80.
• Rear headroom is okay but not class-leading. The fastback roofline means taller passengers will feel a bit more closed in than in a boxier SUV.

The hand-crafted details and exclusivity come at a high price. If you’re looking for value over uniqueness, the standard GV80 Coupe makes more sense.

• Multiple airbags protect the driver, front passenger, knees, sides, and curtain areas. The body uses high-tensile steel and crumple zones to absorb impact in a crash.
• Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist detects cars, pedestrians, and cyclists, warns you, and can brake automatically if needed.
• Highway Driving Assist combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering. It keeps a safe distance and stays in the lane, making long highway drives much less tiring.
• Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist gives visual and audio warnings, and shows a live camera view in the instrument cluster when you signal to change lanes.
• Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning help keep you in your lane, warning first and then gently steering you back if you don’t respond.
• Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist warns of vehicles approaching from the side when reversing and can brake automatically.
• Remote Smart Parking Assist lets you park the car using the key fob, and the 360-degree camera gives a clear view all around for tight spots.
• Driver Attention Warning monitors your steering and alerts you if it detects drowsiness or inattention.

What to Note

• The GV80 Coupe Green Falcon is an extremely limited car, made only for Saudi Arabia. Availability in KSA is exclusive, and it’s not a regular stock model.

Driver assistance systems are there to help, but they don’t replace an alert driver. Always stay focused and ready to take control, no matter how advanced the tech is.
