Is the Kia Pegas a Good Value-for-Money Sedan in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia: It is absolutely, which is why it is among the top-selling sedans in the country. The Kia Pegas has a clean, modern exterior and a cabin that feels way above its price. For a car that starts under 55,000 SAR, it has an appealing exterior design and has an interior that is better equipped than you would expect. It is not a luxury sedan, but it is Kia’s attempt to offer a reasonable compact sedan at an extremely affordable price.

The Exterior 

The Pegas is 4,300 mm long, 1,700 mm wide, and 1,460 mm high. By today's standards, the Pegas is a compact sedan, making it easy to park in tight spaces in Jeddah's Al Balad area or the busy side streets of Al Olaya in Riyadh. The hood has pronounced styling lines that give it a sharp look. The Kia logo is prominent at the front, and the overall body structure is that of a proper three-box sedan.

The top trim gets chrome door handles, fog lamps, and alloy wheels, which noticeably lifts the exterior presence. The base mid variant has steel wheels and looks more basic but still tidy. The side mirrors are electrically adjustable on higher trims and carry integrated turn signals, a small detail that matters in Saudi traffic. Halogen headlights come standard, which is normal for this segment and price range.

The cabin

Step inside the top variants, and the first thing you notice is the leather seats. In a car under 60,000 SAR, that is a huge value. The driving position is comfortable, headroom and legroom are generous enough for taller Saudi drivers, and the multifunction steering wheel gives the cabin a more premium feel than the price implies.

The 7-inch infotainment screen supports Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth, which are essential for any car in 2026. Nobody wants a screen smaller than their phone. Manual air conditioning is standard across all trims, which is a practical choice in a country where the A/C runs nonstop from April to October.

Where It Falls Short

The base trim misses the leather, the alloy wheels, and the rearview camera. Fabric seats in the Saudi heat are not fun by any measure. The rear cabin is comfortable for two passengers but slightly tight for three adults on longer trips. There is also no wireless charging, no digital instrument cluster, and no ventilated seats, features buyers found in more expensive rivals.

The Pegas looks proper on Saudi streets, and if you can afford to go for the top-end EX variant, then this would truly be a valuable buy. The interior genuinely impresses for the price. But if your budget doesn't allow the top variant, and if you go for the base trim to save money, know that the interior step-down is noticeable. For buyers choosing between the base and top variants, the difference in monthly aqsat is small enough that the EX almost always makes more sense. Overall the Pegas is definitely a compelling value buy for buyers of this segment.
